Since its creation in 2017, Compliance4Business "The Prudential Affairs Firm" SA/NV, has been a "boutique" consultancy firm specializing in dealing with complex cases, jurisdictions or clients.

Having established its reputation and unique position on the Belgian market, Compliance4Business has moved to the United Arab Emirates in order to provide a closer service to its long-standing clients (individuals, legal entities, structures and associations) for whom compliance and international standards are part of the DNA of their business activities.

At national and international level, laws and regulations are becoming increasingly numerous and complex to comply with.

In a rapidly changing world, and aware of the impact that (modifications of) laws and regulations have on businesses and activities, Compliance4Business accompanies a variety of clients, both private and public, whether in the UAE or abroad, in understanding and implementing those complex issues.

This is why Compliance4Business is opening its "European Desk" in Dubai in the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC)

Compliance4Business has based its practice on laws and regulations that derive from International (such as UN, FATF, ISO or OECD), European (such as anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing legislation) or National instruments. Services

Depending on the C4B office, different services are available to our Customers (companies, individuals, associations or structures). At C4B Dubai, we have created a European Compliance Desk — a novel conduit for local and international entities in Dubai to evaluate, enhance, and certify their Compliance structures for successful integration into European markets.

Therefore, two products and services were developed :

Creation of a European Compliance Desk in Dubai

Our initiative in Dubai revolves around establishing a specialized European Compliance Desk. This strategic move will empower us to offer local evaluations, effectively acting as a compliance rating agency for both corporate structures and the wealth status of individuals and businesses in Dubai. We aim to gauge their readiness and ability to access European markets, particularly in areas of crucial importance such as Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards.

Our service will provide a unique 'Acceptability Rating' that indicates how well their Dubai-based operations/structures are poised to be received within the European regulatory framework. For example, a corporate structure that is common in Dubai, with many layers, but may be viewed as aggressively tax-optimized in Europe can be assessed and re-evaluated through our rating system. This re-evaluation will be possible through dedicated consultancy (“How to improve”).

We also bring our expertise to local market players such as Corporate Service Providers, Lawyers or wealth structuring companies.

Enhancing Acceptability Ratings

Beyond initial assessments, we look at whether and how the acceptability rating of a client's structuring and operations can be improved to facilitate entry and retention in the European market.

From the inception of a company, we work closely with the lawyers and business service providers who guide clients in setting up their operations in Dubai with a view to eventual expansion into Europe. Our role is to advise them on the adequacy of current business structures and strategies with European compliance requirements. Similarly, managers or entrepreneurs based in Dubai need to control their appetite for losing an opportunity to maintain an economic and patrimonial link with Europe.

For existing entities facing or anticipating regulatory challenges, we provide strategic insight and solutions to navigate and align with European standards, mitigating potential compliance issues before they impact business operations.
